Fanny was a very strong personality - loving and loyal to those she loved, fair but strict with unruly puppies or others who didn't realize she was, in fact, Queen of the Known Universe.

Fanny carried herself "big", and was measured in the ring several times - but measured in easily, as she was actually 18-5/8" tall. Deep bodied, well-boned, beautifully angulated, and an effortless mover, with a beautiful head, feminine without being overly fine, correct planes and proportions, beautiful dark, almond eye, perfect scissors bite, and the whole package wrapped in an easy to care for, proper coat.

Fanny had multiple Group placements at a time when Standard Schnauzers rarely placed in the Working Group, many BB wins, and was the top owner-handled bitch in the country in 1992. She is a SSCA Leading Producer, with 6 CH offspring, and others pointed. She was trained for her CD, but somehow we just never got into the obedience ring to officially get the title.

Fanny survived 2 car crashes that totalled vehicles, and came through unscathed - one when she was 12 weeks, one when she was 12 years old. In spite of this, she loved to travel, and insisted on being in the "navigator" seat. She could recognize when we were getting close to places she liked to visit, even if it had been years since we'd been there. She supervised ALL activity around her, and then trained her daughter, Some'r, to take over as she aged. She was with me for 16-1/2 memorable years, and is certainly missed.
