19 1/2" tall, square built dog with a harsh rotating coat, excellent bone and depth of body. Eager to please his family, happy personalilty, loves to retrieve. 2005 SSCA National Sweeptakes 9-12 Puppy Dog class winner under judge Pat Hastings and 9-12 Puppy Dog class winner under breeder-judge Mary Lou Just 2005 Heartland Standard Schnauzer Club Specialty Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 4 points under judge Edd Bivin. Finished CH the following day at St Croix Valley KC supported entry, by going Winners Dog and Best of Winners under judge William Cunningham, one day before his first birthday! Just one year later, Orion WINS the Heartland Standard Schnauzer Club Specialty under judge Robert Indeglia. Liz Holle and Orion defeated the (professionally handled) #1 SS in the country at the time! A very nice return to the show ring!! As of July 2007, Orion is nationally ranked #3 (breed system) and #6 (all-breed system) of all Standard Schnauzers in the country. He's being shown by Liz Holle, and they're doing very well!! Orion also went to Canada in August, and collected 7 of the 10 points needed to be a Canadian CH. |
