Yankee earned most of his CH points from the puppy class before moving to Texas. At 10 months old, partnered with his brother, Decker, they were the first Standard Schnauzer brace to win a Best in Show-Brace! Yankee went to San Antonio, and helped David learn about showing. His beautiful coat, smooth movement, and wonderful personality made it easy for David to be successful (and go on to show quite a few more dogs!).
Yankee was 19-1/2" tall, well-boned, deep-bodied, balanced, and handsome. He moved with a strong and true gait.
His personality is where he really excelled though - he was always the charming gentleman, and made it easy for anyone who met him to fall in love immediately. This sweet, devoted temperament has come through in his kids and grandkids.
Yankee has 12 CH kids who carry on his wonderful traits and sweet personality.
