CH Sketchbook Sara der Gauner CD
From our first Sketchbook litter, Sara went "way out west" to Washington state as a baby. Sara was a feminine version of her great sire, Bucky, and passed her wonderful bone, depth of bone, and deep body to her kids. She lived with a bunch of Golden Retrievers, and was a better goose retriever than they were! Not the usual job for a Standard Schnauzer, but she did a wonderful job as a bird dog! A SSCA Leading Producer and SSCA Brood Bitch of the Year in 1990, with 6 CH kids from her only litter. Just under 19" tall, heavy-boned and deep bodied, yet agile and light on her feet, Sara was a beautiful mover who also had OFA-excellent hips like her mother and sister Greta had. She had large teeth in a perfect scissors bite (good for carrying a goose!), and correct, harsh coat.
