Junior Handler - Caitlin Gage

Caitlin started by helping with washing and blow-drying legs on her grandparents' dog, "Carson", when all the pups were being prepared for the show ring. Even though Carson was a puppy, and rather bull-headed, Caitlin faced the challenge, and learned how to show him in both the breed ring and in Juniors. She put nearly all the points to complete Carson's CH title on him, including the first point (pictured below), and his finishing major, with both sets of grandparents watching. While most of the kids in her Jrs classes show small dogs, Caitlin has learned how to handle a larger, strong, and sometimes stubborn dog, and succeed. She got her 3rd Novice win at the Ozarks KC in Springfield, MO, in October, 2006.

Watch for this young team in the Open Junior class, and in the breed ring in 2007!
