"Beacon" was WD and BOS (over a special!) for a 4-point major at Land O'Lakes KC, January 8, 2006 under judge Roger Hartinger. He was handled by owner Clark VanGalder, in the show ring for only the 3rd time ever! Nice going!!

He is a tall, square, deep-chested, well-balanced, harsh-coated boy with a fun-loving, sweet personality.

Beacon and Clark plan to try obedience, agility, and tracking work in next, and work towards performance titles.

FLASH! At Fon du Lac KC (WI) on April 23, 2006, Beacon & Clark win BB over a CH nationally ranked in the top 10 in 2006!

AND MORE IMPORTANT NEWS! At the IL Valley KC of Peoria on Friday, May 26th, Beacon was awarded WD for 4 points by judge Mrs Michelle Billings, and FINISHED his CH!!! On Sunday, May 26th, judge Peggy Beisel-McIlwaine awarded him the only Award of Merit given at the Prairieland Standard Schnauzer Club of Central IL. Beacon is earning high praise from judges and Standard Schnauzer fanciers who have seen him. He'll be growing up for a year or so, working on performance titles, and should be back in the ring as a special sometime in 2007 or 2008 when he's all grown up and ready to follow in his father's footsteps!

Beacon earned his CD in 5 shows in fall 2006. He's working on Rally, plus some tracking, and has tried herding too! More performance titles coming soon!
